Carlisle AT489

The Carlisle AT489 is a premium ATV tyre which provides excellent traction, good shock absorption and high levels of stability without the usual tyre wear associated with these characteristics. The profile of the AT489 has been designed to give a flatter footprint for extra ground contact, resulting in masses of grip without an unnecessarily rough ride. The AT489 works well on both 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive quad bikes, and is fitted as the Original Equipment tyre on several ATV's and Utility vehicles from manufacturers such as Polaris, Arctic Cat and John Deere. Key sizes are available in high load versions, which are essential when replacing tyres on S.B.S. "Side by Side" utility vehicles such as the Kubota RTV900, John Deere Gator, Kawasaki Mule, Yamaha Rhino or Polaris Ranger. As an example, the standard 3* AT489 quad bike tyre in size 25x10.00-12 has a load capacity of 190kg, whereas the 4 Ply high load Side by Side version can carry 509kg, over two and a half times as much.
