Standard U.K. Mainland Delivery takes 3 to 5 working days. The cost is dependant on order value and ranges from £4.00 to £9.00 including vat.

Premium U.K. Mainland Delivery takes 1 to 3 working days. The cost is dependant on order value and ranges from £8.00 to £12.00 including vat.

 Tyre-Rite Ltd. operates this website as a 'mail order' service. In order to maintain our competetive prices, we do not work from retail premises. Our goods are stocked at different locations so order collections are not possible.

The wide range of goods we sell vary dramatically in value, size and weight, so it is impossible to calculate exact shipping costs for every combination of goods you might order. So, we have developed a pricing policy which we believe to be as fair as possible. We have a minimum charge which everyone has to pay regardless of order value. This doesn't just go towards the price of the stamps, but is there to contribute towards our administration and day to day operating costs, which, if you are in business yourself, we're sure you will be very aware of.

Proof of Delivery
is protection for you and protection for us. PROOF OF DELIVERY IS REQUIRED for ALL deliveries. During the COVID pandemic, this may be a signature, photograph or GPS location record. We don't accept requests to leave your order in the shed, by the back door or in the dustbin! You can easily give us a different delivery address for a neighbour, relative or your workplace during the checkout process. Business addresses are preferred but not essential, however they do sometimes get a quicker service than home addresses.

Standard Delivery to the U.K. Mainland
normally takes 3 to 5 working days to get to you from the day you order. Saturday may be a working day for you and me, but as far as our couriers are concerned, only Monday to Friday count. If you order on a Saturday or Sunday, your order will be processed on the Monday, so don't start counting your days until Tuesday. Orders up to 2kg in weight are usually sent by Royal Mail, over 2kg and it will usually be sent by Fed-Ex Economy Service. Alternative methods are sometimes used. Higher value orders may take a little longer to dispatch while we carry out additional security checks.

Premium Delivery to the U.K. Mainland
We don't offer a 100% guaranteed next day service. Having said that, Premium Delivery will usually give you prority same day despatch for orders placed before mid-day on a weekday. We use a non-guaranteed but very reliable overnight service by Fed-Ex or UPS couriers to most areas of the U.K. mainland. Expect delivery within 1 to 3 working days. Higher value orders may also take an extra day if we need to carry out additional security checks.

If for any reason we are unable to apply Premium Delivery to your order we will advise you by phone or e-mail, and give you the option to cancel your order or accept Standard Delivery.

Delivery to the Scottish Highlands, U.K. Islands, Channel Islands & Northern Ireland

Non-Delivery
Sometimes the courier may not be able to make the delivery on the first attempt. This could be because there was no-one present to sign for the package, the address given was incomplete or it may be just be a difficult place to find. Should this happen you will be contacted by phone and/or email to arrange a second delivery attempt. Should the second delivery attempt fail or we cannot get in touch with you the goods will automatically be returned to our warehouse after 5 days. This is a carrier policy as they don't like to have piles of undelivered parcels in their depots. In these circumstances any refund made will have both the outbound and return carriage costs deducted. If you need the parcel resending then you will also have to pay again for that carriage cost.
